SLIDING DOOR OPERATORS
Sliding/Bi-Parting automatic doors are at present the most common type of electronically controlled door found. They are available in either single sliding, bi-parting or telescopic configurations.
All sliding doors are fitted to a top track which alleviates the requirement for any floor tracks. All Sliding operators are supplied with a fully monitored battery back up system which will ensure the doors open in the event of power failure or fire alarm activation.
sliding doors can also be supplied with a break-out facility which allows users to push the doors open in an emergency. Its requirement is normally determined by Local Authority Building Control.
SLIDING DOOR OPERATORS
This mode is to facilitate disabled access through a door which is generally used as a manual pedestrian door. The power assisted closer will allow for able bodied users to use the door manually and allow disabled users to utilise the power assisted action when the push pads are depressed thus giving to functionalities to the door leaf. This type of operator complies with DDA Regulations.
BI FOLDING DOOR OPERATORS
Bi Folding automatic doors are ideal where space is limited. Normally where existing doors are situated they can be replaced with a bi-folding doors system with little disruption to existing openings.
They can be installed within an opening or face fixed to the existing door surround.
Similar to Sliding doors Bi-folding doors have a battery back up system which will lead to the doors opening in the event of power failure or fire alarm activation.
Bi Folding doors can also be supplied with a full breakout facility.
FULLY AUTOMATIC OPERATORS
This mode is generally used in instances where a sliding door operators functunality is required but the aperture is not sutiable for this type of solution. Full Automatic swing operators work via PIR sensors taking activation as pedestrians approach. Additional safety sensors placed on the moving door leafs ensure safety is upheld at all times.
All swing door operators can work as single operators or as double operators, giving a solution for either a single or double set of doors.
